White River Budokan literally means "The Budo School in White River". We practice traditional martial arts, Karate, JuJustu, Judo, Kobodo, Aikido and more.

Where is WR Budokan?

The White River Budokan dojo is in the Tip Top building in White River Junction (WRJ) Vermont. It's close to the towns of Norwich, Hanover and serves the Upper Valley area.

Sensei Treem and Sensei Comeau received promotions this fall from O-Sensei Porter. Sensei Treem was promoted to Godan in Judo and Shichidan in Jujutusu.  Sensei Comeau received Godan in Karate from Sensei Treem, Yondan in Jujutusu and Nidan in Judo from O-Sensei Porter.

A number of students received promotions over the last year:

  • Jake Tuthill-  Ni-kyu (judo)
  • Gordon Christie-Maples -  Ni-kyu (jujutsu)
  • Lance McCutcheon -  San-kyu (jujutsu)
  • Marie Fogg - San-kyu (jujutsu)
  • Louise Herschel - San-kyu (jujtusu)
  • Mike Mariani - Ni-kyu (Shodokan and Goju-ryu)
  • Jeremy Kolb - San-kyu (uechi-ryu)
